Name: Gabriel Marlowe Mulciber
Age: 47
Date of Birth: February 13, 1950
Bloodline: Pureblood
Wand: 12” – Dragon Heartstring – Maple
Attendence at Hogwarts: 1961-69, Slytherin
Affiliation: Death Eaters
General Personality: Forceful in a quiet way. Often speaks with a slightly-veiled threat, and entirely intends to carry this threat in the event of contradiction. Persuasive without pushing his point. He looks like the sort who doesn’t give much of a damn for irritation, and he very much is that sort.
Thinks through most of his decisions, pre-plans, though he certainly isn’t above a bit of impulse work. Does often appear ponderous. When deep enough in thought, may appear rather dull, as well; those who act under the assumption of stupidity quickly learn their mistake, however. Even in acting swiftly, he appears to move without great hurry.
He tends not to see other humans as people so much as bodies; purebloods being the most effective. There are a few noteable exceptions to this rule, but in the main he ignores any personal level and treats others with this in mind. Generally sharp in discussions of any sort, he does not care if he offends. Any sense of politeness that he harbors was ingrained into him as a child and has simply not been beaten out.
Very much in control of himself and, so often as he is able, of others. While he will relent to certain individuals and at times, he only does after having judged their own strengths (in whatever area) to be greater than his. He makes strong suggestions to others; often, these are commands.
Doesn’t always speak directly, as he has found that winding around the topic often yields more acceptable results. When speaking directly, he tends to sound curt which, true to his attitude toward others, doesn’t bother him in the least. He figures that anyone of intelligence will listen to what he has to say.
Enjoys experimentation, seeing what he might create out of given situations. He performs these experiments mostly to see what the human body can do or be forced to do, testing limits. Pain is interesting and provides a factor for observation, but it is more an agent than a main goal. He watches, desires to see what comes of certain actions. The methods, results, and anything in the process composes the work of art that he seeks. Refer to him as an artist and he might approve.
He does believe in the supremacy of pure blood. So far as Gabriel is concerned, powers comes from and through the blood. Even those of lesser mind will prove themselves through their blood. Though he will readily admit that works of genius have come from those with tainted blood, he also believes that those these “receptive” individuals were anomolies. He spends some time considering the best method of setting a system to seek out and preserve genius types of impure blood, believing that after the war, they must keep some of the impure ones, after all.
On a few other brief points… He’s got something of a temper, and might well fly into a murderous rage if provoked in a particular manner. Cynical about progress as a whole, though not by any means dedicated to doom and despair; his is more a passive cynicism. Oh, and he might be just a bit arrogant.

History Sketch: Hailing from a long-standing Pureblood family, Gabriel was born on the thirteenth of February, 1950, to Marlowe and Proserpina Mulciber. He was followed by a brother seven years later and a sister four years after that. Spent the earlier years of his life with some amount of freedom, receiving lessons from a tutor hired for both Gabriel and his brother. Attended Hogwarts as a Slytherin, 1961-1969. There he distinguished himself academically and managed in general to stay out of trouble in the eyes of authority, though he orchestrated and was involved in a number of less than savory activities.
After graduation, he began research work with the Ministry. Around this time, he and former housemate Antonin Dolohov first met Voldemort. He soon agreed to join with the Death Eaters, though he continued work at the Ministry for nearly a year before dropping the job; there wasn’t enough to hold his attention. He participated in many activities of the Death Eaters, making especial use of the Imperius Curse. Indeed, the war provided an enjoyable opportunity to test the curse. He was, alas, taken into custody and sent to Azkaban.
He escaped briefly, during the infamous Azkaban spring of doom. Involved in the department of mysteries incident soon thereafter, he was caught and sent once more to Azkaban. There he currently resides, becoming continually less fond of “those in charge” and itching to be set loose.
